Description

Old eBay price: $40. Superclean original first pressing, issued on private mini label 'Outatune' records in 1979. Here you can get the first 7” release by SURPLUS STOCK from the North of Germany. You will love their debut 7” if you like RADIERER, PYROLATOR, DER PLAN and minimal synth like many bands who appear on the 'ZickZack' label. With the band is Bob Giddens from England, the writer of famous music magazine ZIG ZAG who became the manager of DAF (Deutsch-Amerikanische Freundschaft). Produced with the help of England’s famous post punk producer John Brierley who also produced records from bands like TRAX (Home 7” from 1979) SCARS (Horrorshow 7” from 1979) FALL (Rowche Rumble 7” from 1979) VICTIM (The Teen Age 7” from 1980) and many more. The A-sider named 'Spiv'. The great song on the flip called 'Vips'. On the top, I have found an old review from 1980, written in German language: "Nennen ihre Musik selbst MINIMAL MUSIK, für mich ein wenig zu minimal, in der Monotonie steckt nichts spannendes wie zB bei DAF......." (Bobby Blitzkrieg, Alles Tot Nr.6, 1980).

Ebenso werden alle Platten entsprechend stabil in speziellen Schallplatten-Versandkartons mit zwei dicken Pappkartons verpackt (all records will be shipped in special record mailers, two cardboard paddings (the best) will be used to avoid bending).
