Sweet Maya LP (Original Private Pressing 1977)
Rare private Michigan jazzy funky soul LP known for its great "breaks". Check other auctions for Hombre's "Rhythm & Roll" and "First Shot" LPs which features Sweet Maya members and a few Sweet Maya songs but, in my opinion are much better in music and production than Sweet Maya but also much more unknown. Recorded at infamous local Kalamazoo Michigan studio, Uncle Dirty's Sound Machine Studios, from the 70s/80s that produced other highly collectible private press albums such as Kopperfield, Cloudburst, Morey Store Band, Sweet Maya, Poor Richard, Magi, White Summer, Jeffery Liberman, and John Drendall/BA Throwers legendary "Papa Never Let Me Sing The Blues" LP among others.
