RARE CLASSICAL STEREO LP
DVORAK NEW WORLD SYMPHONY
RAFAEL KUBELIK CONDUCTING THE VIENNA PHILHARMONIC ORCHESTRA
DECCA (SXL 2005)
ORIGINAL UK STEREO WIDE BAND GROOVED ED1 PRESSING WITH "ORIGINAL RECORDING BY" ON LABELS.
LAMINATED FLIPBACK SLEEVE WITH BLUE BAND ON REAR.
Record: The record is in VG+ condition, nice clean copy with lovely full sheen to both sides of the vinyl and nice strong audio. The record has been thoroughly play-checked - there are 4 short low-level hisses at the start of side one but these are BEFORE the music starts so do not affect play in any way. Otherwise there is some low level background on this side and the odd light pop but overall the music is very clear and strong and very enjoyable. Side 2 has some very small marks in track two - one of these causes approx 18 soft pops, another produces a few pops which are barely audible beneath the loud music, but again the music is still really clear, strong and a pleasure to listen to. All in all an enjoyable record which has been thoroughly and honestly appraised.
Cover: The cover is in VG+ condition, light handling to edges and a small split to bottom right-hand corner, otherwise very solid and presentable with no other issues.
