SOUND SAMPLE GUIDE, THE OPENING OF EACH side for a minute, with a minute also chosen at random from the middle of each side(4 PARTS TO THE SOUND SAMPLE , OPENING RUN IN FOR EACH SIDE ARE PARTS 1 AND 3)

ANYONE INTENDING TO BID ON THIS ABSOLUTE RARITY 1K/ 2E STAMPER BLUEBACK COVER RARITY (COVER DATED AUGUST 1958) MUST LISTEN TO SOUND SAMPLE AT 2 MINS 56 SECONDS WHERE A SINGLE TRACK SKIP IN THE INTRO OF SIDE 2 CAN BE HEARD, ITS SOUNDS LIKE A TIC, BUT ONE REVOLUTION IS LOST IN THE RECORDING, In that intro there are three parts to the ascending run, and you can only hear 2 of them, WHAT YOU HEAR IS A 2 PART ASCENDING RUN, FOLLOWED BY A SECOND 3 PART ASCENDING RUN AT A HIGHER PITCH, IT SHOULD BE 3 PART PLUS THE SECOND 3 PART RUN, NOT 2 PART PLUS 3 PART.  HOPE THAT HELPS YOU TO PICK IT, OTHERWISE HARD TO NOTICE AND IT IS INVISIBLE DAMAGE FROM I SUSPECT A NEEDLE LAND, WHICH IS WHY I FULLY TEST AND DESCRIBE MY LISTINGS !!!!!!!!!!!!

THE EDGE OF EACH SIDE  HAS MORE STATIC CRACKLE THAN THE REST OF THE RECORD,  SO I RATE IT VG  EVEN WITH THE SINGLE TRACK SKIP LOSING 1 REVOLUTION. HOWEVER  IF YOU INTEND TO BID, MAKE SURE YOU TAKE THE 5  MINUTES TO LISTEN TO ALL OF THE SAMPLE TO SATISFY YOURSELF IF THE LIGHT STATIC ON EACH SIDE OTHER THAN THE VERY HARD TO PICK, TRACK SKIP, IS SATISFACTORY TO YOUR REQUIREMENTS.

SOUND SAMPLE IS LOW RESOLUTION AND HAS A TREBLE BIAS, SO SOME CRACKLE IS MORE PROMINENT THAN WHEN PLAYED ON A GOOD SYSTEM.

This lp has  stampers 2E/1K, whereas most blueback issues seem to be 2E/2E,

Full replay, THIS is VISIBLY, QUITE clean, only A COUPLE OF VISIBLE GREY LINE NON SOUNDING SCUFFS, AND A a few paper scuffs visible in Sunlight only.  Only a few of the softest pips MOSTLY NEAR THE OPENING EDGE FOR A COUPLE OF MINUTES, generally on this lp but a single track skip as described at 2 minutes 56 of sound sample, in intro of side 2 opening.

HENCE THE VG RATING

COVER CONDITION   VG+++There is LIGHT ring wear, MOSTLY VISIBLE ON THE BLACK LAMINATE, and it is quite neat. No seam splits  Only minor blemishes are-

1.  LIGHT  RINGWEAR, MOST VISIBLE LOOKING AT AN ANGLE

2     SOME BENDS IN THE LAMINATE NEAR EDGES AND THUMB CREASES NEAR OPENING EDGE.

3     OPENING EDGE IS A BIT FLARED AND SOME FEATHERING,(SEE PHOTO'S 4 AND 8). 

LP CONDITION VG SEE Photo's,Has just a few spider web scuffs  in sunlight, AND A COUPLE OF SOFT GREY NON SOUNDING SCUFFS.

play test has OTHER THAN THE TRACK SKIP IN SIDE 2 INTRO, HAS only  STATIC pips and tics  MOSTLY NEAR THE START OF EACH SIDE, THE REST as per normal vinyl replay BEAUTIFUL, AND THE DYNAMICS ARE GREAT

This is the first time I have ever offered a record with a track skip, (2 mins 56 secs in sound sample) but the absolute rarity means someone may want it for a filler in their collection.
