Description
Bundle of two Backhaus Beethoven Piano Concertos No. 4 and No. 5 ('Emperor').
Decca SXL 2010 and SXL 2179, STEREO.
Both records will be posted together in a strong mailing box with inner sleeves, padding as required, and discs separated from outer sleeves.
Vinyl grading:
2010 is visually EX with no marks or scratches other than the faintest hairlines visible under strong light. Plays with light background and occasional light tick/pop. Lovely dynamic range and stereo imagery for this great performance.
2179 is VG with some visible light scratches and marks that cause clicks and pops for short periods during playback. Light background surface noise. Lovely stereo imagery, and a wonderful performance.
Both records are glossy but would benefit from a professional clean and playback on a higher grade turntable than I have access to.
Sleeves are VG+ condition, with some marks and edge wear as shown.
