Description

Decca SXL 2064/ 2065. Original WB ED1 first pressing. Made in England. Flipback sleeves.

Stamper numbers: 2K/2K/3K/2K

KUBELIK conducts VPO in SMETANA Ma Vlast

CONDITION:

Discs both M-, except there is a small pressing flaw apparent at the very end of side 1. (SXL2604) Produces a low level, low frequency bump for a few revolutions. Not very noticeable as the music is very loud at that point. On the other side of that disc (Side 4) the same flaw is much smaller and located just after the music ends. Otherwise plays beautifully.

I think these lps have been played once or twice at most, judging by the lack of spindle marks, overall condition and the state of the collection these came from.

Covers:

SXL2604. Near Mint. Has two small cat claw marks on the top edge.

SXL2605.Vg+. More cat claw marks on the top edge.

Original inner sleeves.


General note on classical lp listings: I do not have time to clean every lp (though when I do it's on a Keith Monks), so most could benefit from cleaning as they have been in storage for many years.
