Smetana Ma Vlast Kubelik UK Decca SXL 2064
Superbly recorded and released in 1959, the Vienna Philharmonic conducted by Rafael Kubelik perform Smetana "Ma Vlast" ("My Country". A two record set, this is an English stereo pressing on the Decca Label (SXL 2064/5). The labels are black with a Full Frequency Stereophonic Sound "fatband" and logo, Original Recording by.. at 10 o’clock and a groove. There is a small pressing mound on side one and a few minor scuffs, otherwise the records are of excellent appearance, and play and sound superb with a minimum of surface noise. The covers are superb with some minor creasing and the laminate has lifted along the top of the cover of the second record.
