SXL 2074-5 WAGNER “ Die Walkure” (act one complete) ED1 WBG (Near Mint)
Libretto front Libretto rear All images are scans/photos of the actual item.This copy differs slightly from the standard issue. The only similar copy I could find, was the personal copy of John Culshaw OBE (English classical record producer and pioneer of Stereo recording for Decca Records UK). which was sold on Ebay in 2014.
The cover has an anomaly, the cover slick is the one produced for the Mono (LXT) version..as is the Libretto. This has a glossy Decca sticker stuck on top of the LXT Decca logo. However…… the cloth bound spine clearly states STEREO SXL 2074-5 in gold print.
In all probability this box set was created prior to the Stereo front slick being printed, making it one of the first pressings (which was the conclusion that the other seller came to also).

Condition Grading:
Record:All Near Mint
(both records are unplayed and flawless)
Libretto:Near Mint
(Libretto is crisp and clean with no foxing, staining, writing, creases, stains, rips or tears. All pages are secure and there is no rusting of the staples)
Labels:All Near Mint
(there are no spindle marks or flaws on any of the labels)
Box:Near Mint
(the box is solid with no crushing, rubbing, laminate damage, staining, discolouration to the rear, corner splits and no print loss or fade on the spine)
Inner Sleeves:All Near Mint
(the original polylined sleeves are crisp and clean with no foxing, staining, writing, creases, stains, rips or tears)
The grading standard used is the UK Record Collector magazine gradings as described below
Mint: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.??
Excellent: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.??
Very Good: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.

Libretto front Libretto rear Payment Payment is preferred via PAYPAL, but I will also accept payment from UK based buyers via cheque or postal orders, but if you chose to pay via these, you items will not be despatched until after 5 working days when the payment has cleared. All packages are sent in appropriate secure packaging to ensure the item reaches you in the same condition as it was when despatched. UK packages are sent 2nd class signed for and International packages are sent Airmail/Signed for, which means they are insured and meet EBAY/Paypal requirements for seller/buyer protection. Return Policy Returns are accepted in the unlikely event that the item purchased does not match the grading given and it is returned in the condition sent and in packaging comparable to that which it was originally sent in.
