Up for auction is a extremely rare lp of Decca Stereophonic release SXL 2077 : SIBELIUS - Violin Concerto in D Minor, Op. 47 / TCHAIKOVSKY Serenade Melancolique Op. 26 / SCHERZO from "Souvenir d'un lieu cher" Op. 42, No. 2 -
Performed by RUGGIERO RICCI with the London Symphony Orchestra conducted by OIVIN FJELDSTAD
LP was released in 1958 by The Decca Record Company Limited, London England.
This is the 1st edition wide band grooved copy!
LP is in Very Good++/EX Condition!
Glossy Album cover - Front is in overall nice state with generally high gloss retention and very light hint of ring wear (which is fairly common with the glossy sleeves). There is a few 'air bubbles' where gloss has lifted a little bit in a couple of spots--again, this seems pretty common with these sleeves of this vintage. Back shows some common age yellowing on edges and a little 'dog ear' to a bottom corner flap on back. Otherwise Very Clean!!!!
