SCHUBERT: THE TROUT QUINTET – CLIFFORD CURZON & THE VIENNA OCTET
Super Rare first edition Decca stereophonic release on the Wide Band grooved Label. Schubert’s Piano Quintet in A minor featuring: Willi Boskovsky (Violin); Gunther Breitenbach (Viola); Nikolaus Hubner (Cello); and Johann Krump (Double Bass).

GRADING
SLEEVE: VG
The sleeve shows some slight edgewear. This is most prominent to the bottom edge (see picture). There is some light staining to the rear (again, see picture). There are no splits or tears and no other major defects. The laminated frontpiece is bright and clean with no laminate peeling or wrinkling. The rear flipbacks are intact with no lifting. Comes complete with original heavy paper ffss inner that is in EX+ condition with no damage whasoever.
RECORD: VG+
Vinyl is in strong VG+ condition with only a few faint hairlines visable. The record plays through really well with very, very light intermittent background fizz. The record has not been cleaned and thus this may disappear with a thorough clean. There is no sign of any groove wear nor are there loud pops or clicks that would denote damage. A really great listen.

MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.
EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.
VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.
