AIDA – VERDI 3 x LP:
KARAJAN & THE VPO With Tebaldi, Bergonzi & Simionato
A hugely rare and sought after stereophonic release in its 1st edition red wallet type sleeve with first edition Wide Band grooved labels (see pictures below). The release comes with the original 28 page booklet, 3 x LP’s with original ffss inners and the original band that encircles the wallet claiming “The Most Spectacular Aida Ever Recorded”.

Really difficult to grade as I have never come across a sleeve of this type before. The red plastic wallet shows only slight signs of age via some crimping of the plastic around the edge nearest the aperture.
The booklet is in EX condition there being some slight wear to the spine.

Some very slight spindle marks under bright light. It has clearly only been played a few times.
VINYL:

Even under bright light this looks absolutely stunning, only a couple of very light hairlines/scuffs. Plays through with an occasional static crackle thus it may benefit from a thorough clean. A really beautiful listen.
