Description

ROSSINI OVERTURES DECCA SXL 2182 STEREOPHONIC 1960
PETER MAAG - PARIS CONSERVATOIRE ORCHESTRA
The record has been played before but appears to be in good used condition visually - there are a dozen or so tiny vinyl pimples on the playing surface of each playing side - probably a result of when the record was first pressed - mostly visible when the record is held under a direct light - they have no affect on play - the record plays through both sides with no skips or jumps - the overall sound quality is generally good with some minor background crackles here and there which are mostly noticeable during quieter moments or during the beginning of each side but generally a good sounding record with no major deterioration in overall sound quality. The cover and inner sleeve suffer from tanning obviously due to age - some penned numbers to the back top right-hand corner of the cover (see photos) but again, nothing really major with no major defects and generally in good condition for their sixty-four years.
