Matrices: ZAL 4811 - 1e ZAL 4812 - 1e
Sleeve: The flip-back, scalloped sleeve has been graded as very good (+). The photos give an accurate picture.There is some softening of the edges at the opening and there are initials, in faint biro,on the rear of the sleeve. However, there are no splits or tears and there is no de-lamination, or foxing. The spine is clean and good.
Vinyl - Visual grading: The vinyl has been visually graded as excellent. Surfaces are glossy - that's the photographer's arm and hand that you can probably see in the vinyl photos - but there are 2/3 extremely faint, non sounding, wispy sleeve marks, on each side. These are only apparent under a strong light. There are no spindle trail marks - see photos.
Vinyl - Audible grading: Audible grading suggests excellent (+) for side 1 and excellent (+)/mint (-) for side two. The music sounds absolutely superb: there is no evidence of groove wear, no clicks, or crackles or pops and no surface rustling between bands.There is the occasional, very quiet, isolated tick on side one (ten in total across the side as a whole). Side two has two very quiet ticks close to the end of the final band. The playing surfaces track beautifully and are exceptionally quiet throughout, even during the most hushed of passages. With my 9" OL Encounter MK3 tonearm and Dynavector 10 x 5 cartridge, I can hear no end of side distortion on either side.
The record includes an exceptionally clean, crisp and weighty, original inner sleeve and will be packed with an archive quality inner liner.
