PROKOVIEV Classical Symphony vinyl LP on DECCA SXL 2292 UK STEREO Rare 1961 pressing
I have acquired a large classical collection of wonderful recordings from a very keen and dedicated collector.
They are all mostly from the late 50s to mid 60s - Something of a Golden Age in Classical recordingAll records are inspected very carefully and
Gradings are based on Record Collector magazine.
I try to only offer recordings in a minimum of excellent Condition unless it is something particularly rare when I will do my best to describe any visual or audible flaws

Early DECCA SXL Black and Silver Wide band Grooved label but with" Made in England " Lettering
MATRIX ZAL 5142-4E and ZAL 5143 -2E - The Grooved label suggests a first pressing - but the Made in England lettering points to a second pressing - I suspect this is a First pressing disc with a second pressing label or perhaps it was a crossover between 1st and 2nd pressings.
Side 1 Disc is visually VERY GOOD with one light transverse surface mark that is lightly audible in the quietest passages
Side 2 Disc is visually Just Under EXCELLENT with a faint surface mark near the start of the first band that was lighty audible for
about 3 and half minutes and there were 2 further pops for 1 Revolution midway So being very strict lets say VERY GOOD for Side Two as well
Sleeve is Excellent complete with Original Decca FFSS inner Sleeve
You will be pleased to learn there is no reserve and a lowish starting price
