Symph prog that borrows from many styles. A mix between Uriah Heep and Pink Floyd might point their

material but with their twin-keys action they definitely have a sound of their own.

"Synkopy is a Czechoslovakian five-piece (2 keys, guitar, bass, drums, vocals) whose leader and primary

songwriter, Oldrich Vesely, was once a member of another great Czech band, Modry Efekt. Many comparisons

can be drawn between Synkopy and Modry Efekt, not the least of which is a penchant for experimentation and

bringing other styles into the sound and giving them their own progressive twist. Of course, Synkopy, with two

keyboard players (Vesely and Pavel Pokorny), are more keyboard driven than Modry Efekt." - Fred Tafton

Original Czech press, on the Panton label # 22 0503, 1975. One review says” Rare Synkopy 61 10 inch EP from

1975. 5 tracks; Formule 1, To Se Stava,Poselstvi Detem,Kamen Mudrcu and the side long Touhy. Top notch

psych-progger with loads of swirly organ and some fuzz to boot!! One of their best offerings!! Don't blow this

chance!!
