Description

Saint Etienne Fox Base Alpha 25th Anniversary 2LP+7” UK Limited Box Set. Only 2,000 pressed worldwide and only available directly from the Saint Etienne site. Long out of print. 2016 Heavenly Records UK. HVNLP1SE.


I am the original owner and bought this brand new direct from the Saint Etienne online shop. The records have never been played. The booklet and everything else included in the box set are as new except for some small creases to the promotional letter replicas, and a very small fold on the top-left corner of two of the black and white press photos (see pics). I only opened the shrinkwrap to use the download card once. The outer shrinkwrap still covers the entire outer box except for the side portion where it was carefully opened by me.


I am not sure if the download card code will still work, but I am including a DVD audio disc that has all of the songs on it, as well.


Box Set includes:


* The original album remastered and cut onto two twelve inch 45rpm discs for higher fidelity, housed in an exclusive gatefold version of the original sleeve.


* ‘Remains Of The Day’, an exclusive album that gathers together ten rare 'Foxbase Alpha'-era recordings from the period most of which are appearing on vinyl for the first time.


* An exclusive one-sided 7” featuring the original, previously unreleased version of ‘Kiss And Make Up’, featuring ‘Only Love Can Break Your Heart’ singer Moira Lambert.


* A perfect bound, 12" square, 28 page book featuring many unseen photographs and artefacts from the era, plus a new interview with Bob Stanley by the Guardian's Michael Hann.


* Three 10”x 8” black and white portraits of the group.


* A perforated sheet of Foxbase Alpha trading cards.


* Exact reproductions of the original album press release and biography.


* A digital download code for all of the music (used once by me. May or may not still work for additional downloads. A DVD audio disc of all of the download content will be included however).
