Description
Saints 1st Press OZ LP Casablanca EX '82 EMI YPRX1968 Alt Rock Chris Bailey
Original 1st Press OZ LP released in 1982 on EMI Records. Cat: YPRX1968.
Although the Saints have had many incarnations, the focal point throughout has been singer Chris Bailey. This is post-Ed Kuepper Saints, but it's nevertheless one of the band's greatest achievements. The madly intense 'Senile Dementia' and the lighter 'Rescue' are excellent, while the title track is timeless. I thought this was love, sings Chris Bailey, but this ain't 'Casablanca'. Wonderful.
Tracks : Follow the leader/ Rescue/ Senile dementia/ Casablanca/ Curtains/ Come on/ A 1000 faces/ Animal/ Out in the jungle/ Beginning of the tomato party/ Out of sight.
