Wow, what a great selection of Salsoul classics here. One of the greatest disco records of all time, with true dancefloor favourites for anybody who likes the sounds of DJs like Larry Levan and Frankie Knuckles etc.

 

1. Inner Life II (LP album) x 2 – Including the classics Moment of my life, I like it like that, make it last forever, I’ve got to find me somebody etc. There are 2 copies of this in this sale…..one is in VG++ Condition both sleeve and record…..the other one has more marks on the record but plays fine, but the sleeve has a clip in the top right corner and there is a crease mark on the bottom.

 

2. First Choice (12” single) – Doctor Love (Tom Moulton Mix) b/w Let No Man Put Assunder (Shep Petibone Mix). This is a reissue on UNIDISC records from 1994, and is VG++ condition both sleeve and record.

 

 

3. Salsoul Orchestra (12” single) – Ooooh I Love It (Love Break) b/w Double Exposure My Love Is Free.  This is a re-issue on Salsoul Records from 2002, and both record and sleeve are in VG++ condition

 

4. Instant Funk (12” single) – Got My Mind Made Up B/W Bodyshine and Larry Levan remix of Got My Mind Made Up. This is a re-issue on UNIDISC records from 2002 and both record and sleeve are in VG++ condition.

 

 

5. Silvetti – Spring Rain B/W Inner Life Moment of My Life. Re-issue in conjunction with DEFINITIVE DANCEFLOOR MASTERCUTS

 

6. Indeep - Last Night A DJ Saved My Life. This is a reissue on UNIDISC records from 1991 under licence from Becket records. What an awesome record a real crowd favourite. Never on the salsoul label, but put this in with the others anyway. Both vinyl and sleeve VG++ Condition.

 

 

7. Salsoul Orchestra – Magic Journey 1977 Salsoul records (LP album). This includes the superb RUNAWAY as featured in Masters at Work with India. Superb track. This record has surface marks but they don’t seem to affect playback, I would rate it as Very Good. The Sleeve is showing signs of wear and is tatty around the edges, I would rate it as Fair-good condition

 

8. The Salsoul Orchestra (LP Album). Featuring Salsoul Hustle, and You’re Just The Right Size! Awesome tracks. This is on IEMPSA records from 1975 under licence from Salsoul. The record is in POOR condition…..there are surface marks, it doesn’t jump at all, but there is constant noise in the background. Hissing. Irritating. Sleeve is in good condition

 

 

9. DISCO BOOGIE (LP Compilation) – 14 Super Hits For Non Stop Dancing. Tracks issued under licence from Salsoul records by Carol Williams, Bunny Sigler, First Choice, Eddie Holman, Love Committee, Loleatta Holloway, all SUPERB tracks. Record is in Good ++ condition…..surface marks, with the very occasional crack or hiss. Sleeve is in fair condition…..showing signs of wear and age. This is on IEMPSA records, not sure of year? But all tracks are disco classics, a great compilation!
