Description
About This Record. This is a hard-to-find Savoy Brown LP on Parrot Records from 1973, especially with the full press kit from London Records mothership company of Parrot! This is the ONLY Parrot or London Promo press kit like this I have ever seen, along with a really cool US gatefold package of the LP The Toad.
ATTENTION International Buyers: The eBay invoice you may automatically receive defaults to Priority Mail shipment which has a tracking number but costs $31.50 instead of $12.50 to $15.00 which is the cost of First Class Mail. If you want First Class Mail for $12.50 to $15.00, please let me know and I can send you a revised invoice with a seller discount; although the invoice I think will still say Priority Mail it will be sent First Class Mail. I guess this is like international sellers only being able to send an invoice to U.S. customers that says $4.00 when we all know that is not the true cost of shipment.
Please note that I work for eBay and eBay company policy requires that I inform any potential bidders of this fact, and direct them through this link to the Code I have to abide by as an eBay employee: http://pages.ebay.com/help/policies/everyone-employee.html No, I don't work in the collectibles division or anything, I'm just a regular eBay employee like you and me who lives near San Jose and is a vinyl hound but is required to tell you this.
About Me. I have been a Record Collector for over 35 years. With two kids in college, I often sell records so I can buy more vinyl or, in this case, pay the last college tuition bills of the year! 99% of what I sell is vinyl; read my Feedback! I don't sell Craaap; only stuff that I deem worthy so please inspect closely and often. Common LPs are a waste of your time and mine! I bought this many years ago during my travels and have kept in well preserved. This comes in a new rice paper equivalent sleeve, and new 4 mil plastic sleeve.
Cover Condition. The Gatefold US cover would be Excellent (some corner wear, light other wear) but also has a drill hole in cover and DJ promo sticker like all rare promo copies of this LP. Still Very nice and cool graphics on this!
Vinyl Condition. Looks strong EX to EX+ and plays EX+ to NM-.
Label Condition. Near Mint
Press Kit. The unheard of rare press kit is in Near Mint condition with black & white photo, bio, London Records folder and story.
Inner Sleeve The original paper sleeve from London/Parrot with covers of LPs is included, and part of the sleeve was drilled by the drill hole in the cover, otherwise nice with a few folds.
Shipping and Payment. PayPal only. I ship promptly worldwide and do not overcharge for shipping . . . contact me if you paid more than the USPS postage sticker on your package and I’ll happily refund you the difference. I will ship by any method you want. But if you do not insure, the record will be shipped at your own risk. I offer full refund on all records including shipping both ways. CALIFORNIA RESIDENTS: Please add sales tax.
