Description
On offer is a fine example of a great British electric blues album by Savoy Brown called "Shake Down", this stereo copy was released during 1967 on the blue and silver unboxed Decca label SKL 4883. It is a rare album and very hard to come by, especially in this condition.
CONDITION: The vinyl has retained a super deep gloss, there are some surface marks but these are superficial and in no way degrade the high quality audio experienced when playing the record. It is obvious that this record has barely been played. Both labels are very clean and tidy, there are just a tiny number of spindle traces. The original inner sleeve has discoloured a little with some corner creasing. Only the front of the cover has been laminated with "Clarifoil". Overall the cover only exhibits slight signs of wear and creasing, having said this I should point out that the top and bottom edges have become unglued (there is no damage to these edges), they simply need sticking back together.
With regards to grading I have given a strong EXCELLENT for the vinyl and a VERY GOOD+ for the cover. I use the Record Collectors grading system.
