One of the earliest of the very few recordings of Scott LaFaro and his first piano trio recording. The record jacket lists another bass player, but Pat Moran has stated that La Faro played on the date and, even a cursory listen to the record, by any one familiar with La Faro's style, will confirm that it is, indeed, him.
The record is mono and both sides are deep groove. Visually, the record is M- and appears to be unplayed or to have only been played a few times and is without scratches, spindle marks or groove damage. There is a very light scuff on side 2. I spot played the record and it played VG++. There is light to moderate surface noise that seems inherent in the pressing. A very nice copy of the record. The Audio Fidelity custom plastc bag that the record came in is included.
The cover is VG. Bottom seam is split app 1/2 inch at pocket and there is an area of heavy wear app 1 inch. Spine and top seam are intact with moderate wear. Front cover still shows some gloss but some small pieces of laminate missing near bottom and tiny specks of sticker residue. Back shows moderate wear and some staining at bottom. Cover looks better than grade.
