For sale is this UK original vinyl film soundtrack album with music and lyrics by Leslie Bricusse and conducted by Ian Fraser. Entitled Scrooge, it contains 17 tracks (see track listing below) and is housed in a gatefold sleeve and original CBS inner sleeve. Also included is the original double sided printed insert. The film starred Albert Finney, Alec Guinness, Edith Evans, Kenneth More, Michael Medwin, Roy Kinnear and Anton Rodgers. On the CBS label, the catalogue number is S 70077 and the date of issue is 1970.
Condition
The vinyl is in Very Good Plus condition.
The labels are in Excellent condition, clean and bright with clear, perfect printing and only the very lightest of spindle marks.
The printed insert is in Excellent condition.
The gatefold cover is in Excellent condition with just a slight patch of minor discolouration on the back where a sticker has been removed (see pic). The spine is complete with clear printing.
All vinyl records are strictly graded according to Record Collector magazine's grading system, the long established UK standard, with any specific flaws mentioned along with the grading. They are sent in custom-made mailers, with built-in or added stiffeners, and are packaged outside their sleeves to prevent edge splits. Singles without a picture sleeve will either have a plain sleeve or a correct-era original (not repro) record company sleeve (stated above). Original record company sleeves may not be the exact sleeve issued with the single so may have a different catalogue number hand-written in the corner but they will be the correct design for the single. They may have a bit of wear, writing, stickers, sticker marks etc but will be in a generally good, useable condition without edge splits or sellotape.
