ULTRA LIMITED EDITION RARE, UNOPENED JON SPENCER BLUES EXPLOSION "CONTROVERSIAL NEGRO" "PIZZA BOX" SET!
This LP was only offered as a prize as a promotional contest from Matador Records and was not rereleased. Included here are the following items:
"Controversial Negro" LP: Record is sealed in the package, never opened, never played. LP is a recording of a live show recorded at The Hotel Congress, in Tucson, Az on November 25th, 1996. Tracks include: Get With It Can't Stop Son of Sam Cool Vee Afro R.L. Got Soul Blues Explosion Man Water Main Love All of Me Fuck Shit Up Hot Shot Skunk Vacuum of Loneliness Sticky
"Controversial Negro" T-Shirt: Size - Men's Large. This shirt is also brand new, never worn, never washed. I believe that this was only available as part of this "box set"!
Blues Explosion Video: VHS Tape. Great Collection of all Blues Explosion videos made up to that point (1996). This is opened and played once.
"Blues Explosion" Pizza Box: This pizza box was what this set was packaged in. You can see by the picture that this box has aged over the years (as any cardboard or paper item will), but is in fair condition with no tears. This was only offered to contest winners back in 1996.
Blues Explosion "Now I Got Worry" Sticker: I do not believe this was part of the box set but am unsure about that. Either way, I'll include it here.
This is a must have for any JSBX fan and I have never seen it on eBay before. If you are not completely satisfied, I do offer your money back after shipping expenses. Please contact me with questions.
