Description
This is a sealed copy of the 1st Annual Report album by industrial/experimental band Throbbing Gristle. This was pressed in Italy by Get Back Records (2001 - GET83) and is in excellent condition.
This is the “lost album” that was initially recorded between 1975/1976 and was never actually released until 1987 for the first time, then again in 2001 (this copy).
This album will be carefully packaged and shipped anywhere in Canada and the US with tracking.

the first annual report of throbbing gristle:
in 1977 throbbing gristle let out a wall of contempt upon the world of music. they had no idea probably of the legendary effect it would have.their first released album was called "second annual report".
it was acclaimed or reviled by the press. it contributed to the rise of punk to the public eye.
members of parliament feigned outrage whilst their secretaries hung on ropes from lampposts. the word industrial was introduced into the rock vocabulary by throbbing gristle.they used sampling via converted computers before any technology was available even in the studios. they blended burroughs, brecht and cage within working class humour and alienated cynicism. they ware in truth ahead of their time.
unique, the very english equivalent of the velvet underground. 60s legends, 70s legends. the velvet underground for years were reputed to have mythical lost album: throbbing gristle were reputed to have one too. both bands discretely left matters vague.
this album is the studio recordings made in 1975 and was deliberately held back by the band. figure out why.
now the puzzle is complete, but still not assembled. don't you wish they were still destroying civilisation?
