Most Americans knew the late Senator Robert Byrd as a distinguished member of the US Senate, but those who had the opportunity to hear him sing and play know that he was also a distinguished musician.
The selections on this record are all "country music" but they represent different categories and different sources. These songs constitute an art that evokes the traditional life of the American countryside. It is a tribute to the late Senator that he treasured this art --- and that he preserved it in this recording.

Record is in GOOD CONDITON .
Has the usual scuffs and scratch on the album cover....overall good shape!!!
