Description

This record is a vintage 1978 U. S. Senator Robert Byrd "Mountain Fiddler" LP in very good condition.  The jacket shows only very light wear on the edges and a few very light wrinkles.  The record is in excellent condition with no discernable scratches or scuffs.  (I have not played it).   To quote the jacket:  "Most Americans know Robert Byrd as the distinguished Majority Leader of the United States Senate.  But those who have had the opportunity to hear him play and sing know that he is also a distinguished musician".  He is joined by Doyle Lawson on guitar, James Bailey on banjo and Spider Gilliam on bass.  The back cover (picture two) shows six pictures at various stages of his musical career along with a description of his musical history and the specific songs on this album.  A treasured piece of Americana.  I would be happy to answer any questions.
