Complete set of 3 Columbia 12 inch, single sided Radio Transcription records, featuring Paul Tremaine & His Orchestra.
This is Program No. 2, In Three Parts (A,B and C).
All 3 records are heavy, single side, laminated Columbia pressings, and are in great "E+" to "M-" condition! These are original 78rpm issues for radio station use from around 1929-1930.
Part A, Record 91933 Starts with announcer saying "This program features Paul Tremaine and his Orchestra, specialists in novelty dance arrangements of folk tunes. Mr. Tremaine's first selection is his modern fox trot version of Hand Me Down My Walking Cane". Followed by a nice hot orchestra with vocal version with solos of the the song. This record ends with a plug for Columbia Tele-Focal with it's "greater fidelity and finer tone...".
Part B, Record 91934. Starts out with announcer introducing the song "Anchors Aweigh" played by the orchestra in an upbeat fox trot. This record ends with an advertisement for Columbia Phogograph Company and Tele-Focal radio receiver, "you will be amazed at the variety of radio entertainment that the Tele-Focal will bring you, sharper, clearer and with greater fidelity..." and so on.
Part C, Record 91935. Starts with a fun introduction to the song "Steamboat Bill" followed by a great version of the song, including some great solos! This record ends the program with "If you enjoyed this program of Paul Tremaine and his Orchestra, listen for other programs sponsored by the Columbia Phonograph Company, manufacturors of the new Tele-Focal Radio".
