This lot contains seven 10-inch 78 RPM records by Glenn Miller and his Orchestra. In the order shown in the pictures (with vocalists in parentheses where applicable), they are:

Bluebird # B-11462 - "The Story of a Starry Night" and "Skylark" (vocals on both sides by Ray Eberle)

Bluebird # B-11401 - "Moonlight Cocktail" (vocal by Ray Eberle) and "Happy in Love" (vocal by Marion Hutton)

Bluebird # B-10893 - "A Handful of Stars" and "Yesterthoughts" (vocals on both sides by Ray Eberle)

Bluebird # B-10214 - "Sunrise Serenade" and "Moonlight Serenade"

Victor # 27934 - "(I've Got a Gal in) Kalamazoo" (vocal by Tex Beneke, Marion Hutton and the Modernaires); and "At Last" (vocal by Ray Eberle)

Victor # 27873 - "American Patrol" and "Soldier, Let Me Read Your Letter" (vocal on the latter by Ray Eberle)

Victor # 27935 - "Serenade in Blue" (vocal by Ray Eberle); and "That's Sabotage" (vocal by Marion Hutton).

They look to be generally in a range of about VG to VG+ condition, still nice and shiny, but varying degrees of surface wear. I played them on my Audio-Technica turntable, and there were a couple of forward skips on "American Patrol." And Bluebird B-11462 ("The Story of a Starry Night" and "Skylark") is warped, which produces a rhythmic knocking or swishing on both sides. Other than that, there were no skips or repeats, and mostly just typical light levels of background hiss, but some scattered clicks or pops or passages of ticking. Because of variations in tracking ability, filtering technology and needle weights, I can offer no guarantees as to how well they will play on your equipment. Please also check the pictures for any label damage, including stickers and inscriptions.
