Description
Benny Goodman Sextet on Columbia Records with early cover art by Alex Steinweiss. There are four discs, Rose Room, Flying Home, Air Mail Special, Grand Slam, Poor Butterfly, Wang Wang Blues, I found a New Baby, and As Long as I Live.
CONDITION: The records are very clean. I cannot play the records and prefer not to for fear of damaging them. With the exception of one side of one I can see no evidence of scuffs and or scratches and I believe that they have been played only minimally, if at all.
There was dust accumulation on the top of the closed album. I have not cleaned these records other than to lightly dust off the dust with a very slightly damp paper towel.
The cover is scuffed around the bottom and side edges and the two right front and back corners are bumped. The top of the spine has been pulled awayabout 1/4" down and the spine has separated from the cardboard covers about half way down. Otherwise the spine is solid, the cloth hinges inside are not broken.
The sleeves are in what I would call new condition, another piece of evidence suggesting that the album was not much handled.
