Description

Hello, I am a long-time eBay seller - since October, 1999.  I have a 100% feedback record, so bid and buy with confidence.  I have collected records for many years and every record I offer comes from my personal collection.  The grade I specify for the vinyl is based upon a playback as well as a visual inspection.  The grade I assign for the cover and inserts (if any) is based upon a close visual inspection.  My grading standards are conservative - I believe that it does no one any good to inflate the grade of the record only to have the buyer be disappointed upon receipt and wish to return it.
For sale today is Mobile Fidelity Sound Lab's (MFSL) Ultra High Quality Recording (UHQR) remastering issue of the Beatles Sgt. Peppers Lonely Hearts Club Band released by MFSL in 1982.  If you collect MFSL issues, you know what a high quality product they made back in the 1980s (a tradition which continues today) and the UHQR special releases were the highest examples of MFSL's production technique.
As to condition, the record for sale today is in as issued, sealed condition.  The outer box is in Mint shape.  Only issue is minor tearing/splitting on selected spots of the shrink-wrap.  Nothing major, no long tears or major splits.  Aside from the aforementioned minor tearing/splitting, the shrink-wrap itself is firm and tight.  As a kind of fun bonus, the album also comes with its original retail price sticker which is firmly affixed to the shrink-wrap front cover (it shows $50 - what a deal!).
All in all, a great example of this super rare, highly-sought after MFSL UHQR 37-year old issue of the Beatles classic Sgt Peppers record, which is getting harder and harder to come by in sealed condition as the years pass.
Important Note: while I offer a return for refund option, a significant part of the value of this record is in its as issued, sealed condition.  While it should go without saying, to be clear, to qualify for a refund, the record must be returned in the same condition as it is now: sealed with only very minor tears/splits to the shrink-wrap!
Thanks for looking.
