Description

So, as much as I hate to do this, I am selling my 2014 copy of Sgt Pepper's in mono. This is the copy that was mastered in all analogue from the original master tapes. So, this is the mix that The Beatles would have sat in on and approved of before moving onto press. No digital remastering, everything is straight from the tapes

The reason I am selling is this: At about 1:15 on side 1 there is a skip, it was there when I got the record. And instead of handing it back in, which I didn't really think to do, and get another one I just held onto it. The good news is this: I have played it on 2 other record players and there is no skip. So, I am not really sure what the reason for this is. I have an older style turntable and the ones I played it on were newer, so that might have something to do with it. In any case it's a great record and plays well all the way through except for that one issue.

The sleeve I would rate at NM. It looks immaculate. The record I would rate at VG+. There are a couple of VERY superficial lines on it that do not affect playback. Other than that it looks flawless. So, since this is out of print, I'm selling it for much lower than others are asking for taking into consideration the unpredictability of it skipping.
