Yellow & black Parlophone label with 'Sold in the UK' and 'The Gramophone Co. Ltd' label text.

Matrix Numbers: YEX 689-1 / YEX 690-1 A true first pressing!

Laminated (to front) flipback G&L sleeve and EMI advertising inner sleeve

The sleeve is in really nice excellent plus condition - Some fairly minor storage wear and some light ringwear to the front plus a few very light corner creases. But no splits, rips or tears. No major creases and no writing. The rear sleeve is really nice and clean with almost no ringwear. Clean, straight and bright (and very purple!)

The record labels are perfect except for several light spindle marks, but no rips, tears, sticker marks or writing. Very nice, clean, bright labels!

The record is in lovely near mint condition. Really, really nice except for a few very light surface marks. This LP plays superbly and I doubt if you will ever find a better copy (I have never actually seen another copy!)

A fantastic copy of the first Deep Purple LP. Easily their rarest UK LP, these are near impossible to find. This may be your only chance!
