The play tested lp record is in Very Good condition, and the gatefold cardboard sleeve is in Very Good + condition, showing wear with light bumps on the corners and bottom edge. The inner paper sleeve is the VG original paper sleeve, showing some discoloring from age.

On this play-tested 1962 lp record, Shelly Manne and Bill Evans perform six compositions, including Irving Berlin's "The Washington Twist" and "Let's Go Back to the Waltz." These selections appear to be nod to the Twist dance craze at the time. Mr. Manne, drums, and Bill Evans, piano, are backed by Monty Budwig, bass.
The legendary Creed Taylor was the producer, and Don Gold wrote the liner notes.
Condition
This play-tested lp record has some light scratches and scuffs. On side 1, anomalies were as follows: on track one, four light clicks; track two, two light clicks; and track three, two light clicks. On side 2, the play testing revealed, as follows: track one, one light click; track two, one light click at the end; and track three, one light click at the beginning. Intermittent light surface noise was also heard. The light clicks and any surface noise did not interfere in hearing and listening to the musical performances.
"VG records have more obvious flaws than their counterparts in better shape. They lack most of the original gloss found on factory-fresh records. Groove wear is evident on sight, as are light scratches deep enough to feel with a fingernail. When played, a VG record has surface noise, and some scratches may be audible, especially in soft passages and during a song's intro and ending. But the noise will not overpower the music otherwise."
