Various-Silk Stockings-Original Soundtrack-LP-1986 CBS Records Australian Mono Reissue+Poster-Promo-HOL 17-Cole Porter

Volume 17 in the CBS Records ‘Hollywood Collection’, a 1986 re-issue series of famous MGM film soundtracks.  ‘Silk Stockings’ – music and lyrics by Cole Porter – original mono soundtrack to the 1957 MGM film, featuring Fred Astaire, Cyd Charisse, Peter Lorre, Carol Richards, Janis Paige, Joseph Buloff and Jules Munshin.   Housed in a generic style glossy jacket with a brown border, it features the original album artwork on both front and rear of jacket, plus the original film poster.  Also included is a colour paper insert for Hollywood Collection series releases.  Jacket is in excellent (minus) condition - small sticker mark front top RH corner.  ‘Sample Record Not For Sale’ sticker on rear top cover.  Poster is in excellent condition.  Vinyl LP is in excellent condition.  Australian vinyl pressings from this series are hard to find (HOL 17).

The record is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The sleeve and any extra items are in perfect condition.

EXCELLENT (EX)

The record shows signs of having been played but there is negligible loss in sound quality. The sleeve may have slight wear or creasing.

VERY GOOD (VG)

The record has been played many times but shows no significant deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks. Sleeve has normal wear and tear without any major defects.

GOOD (G)

The record has been played enough that the sound quality has deteriorated noticeably and may have pops and skips. The sleeve may suffer from scuffs, spine splits, ring wear and/or discolouration.

CONDITION: This item is in excellent or mint condition unless stated above.
