Description

Simon & Garfunkel-"Bookends" LP, Columbia KCL 2729, released in 1968. This is the extremely rare Mono pressing. It's estimated there were 500 Stereo copies pressed for each Mono. In addition, this is in the correct Mono cover, which is, if possible, even rarer than the LP. Almost all of the Mono LP's were put in Stereo covers. Vinyl, VISUALLY graded by Goldmine standards, is in VG- to weak VG condition; there are light marks on both sides, none of which look like they would affect play. Both sides still retain their full gloss. This is not a trashed record. The cover is in VG- condition with wear at two corners, a partial top seam split, two partial bottom seam splits and some front cover wear, as shown in the picture. The back is actually pretty nice. The poster is also included, in NM condition, with no tears or holes. Not a pristine copy, but this, the rarest Simon & Garfunkel LP, is hard to find in any condition.
