Simple Minds AUTOGRAPHED Live In The City Of Light vinyl double LP SMDL1 NM/NM
Mine since new and always kept in a gatefold pvc cover. Exceptional NM condition throughout and barely played (if at all). An outstanding addition to any collection.
Signed at Virgin Records, Birmingham in May 1987 at a pre-organised signing tour by Jim Kerr, Charlie Burchill, Mel Gaynor and Mick MacNeil (John Giblin was absent that day). The original Virgin price label is still in place. I took the 74 bus from Dudley and queued up to meet the band and handed this to them to sign along with the limited edition Once Upon A Time picture disc (see separate listing).
The outer gatefold sleeve is stunning - easily NM, with 4x clear signatures nicely spaced on the front cover. None of the usual finger prints and marks. All corners front and rear are sharp with no dents or creases. The spine is also sharp and clearly legible with clean, rust-free staples for the booklet. The opening shows no sign of wear.
The inner gatefold and booklet is again remarkably good with no fingerprints, creases, etc, matching the NM nature of the cover.
The original black inner sleeves are in super shape having been taken out of the cover just a couple of times. The openings show no signs of wear and there is no creasing.
The vinyl is superb, glossy and unmarked with no fingerprints, scratches or spindle marks on the labels.

This will be carefully packed and sent with the vinyl in new acid-free paper liner(s) in a new cardboard mailer to the UK MAINLAND ONLY.
