Description
This is part of a large auction of blues, R&B and a few rock n' roll 10" 78's. Almost all of these came from the collection of a 1950's Yale radio DJ. Across the board, they have been played very little.

Format: 78 rpm 10" shallac record
Year: 1950
Notes: Yellow label first pressing. Fourth of only five records released by Wiley in the mid-50's. It is indicative of the big, bold R&B style of his early years. He would re-enter the music industry after a decade away with a more straight jazz/hard bop sound.
Record Condition: E+, The record plays great with great sound, almost no surface wear at all. Very little wear, just some very light scuffing in spots. Label is very clean as well, no marks, tears or obvious spindle marks. Really nice copy overall.
All records I sell have been personally cleaned and play tested. I am an experienced grader and use the VJM grading system, but please see pictures as so much of this is subjective. These will be shipped in sleeves in a cardboard sandwich in a box for maximum protection.
