Description
Here we have some lovely classic Ska! It's George Whyte, Lloyd Watt & Clovis Williams, better known as THE ITALS with "I Told You Little Girl" and "New Loving" on the UK Giant label GN8 7" 45 rpm. Accompaniment is by The Soul Brothers. The label says that it dates from 1967, but the style sounds a little earlier. It is nice and clean and tidy. It shines like the nose of an enthusiastic wombat, and has only one or two very light sleeve marks which (on my gear) do not sound at all. IT PLAYS BEAUTIFULLY but it has no original centre. Let'c call it a VG++ or better. For those of you who want to know this sort of thing, the original centre was of the THREE PRONGED type, indicating that this is an early pressing. Remember, the prong is never wrong. This auction starts at a price which is astonishingly low, so bid now, and hope that nobody else sees it.
