Ok Chicago punk rock emo ska, etc. fans.  Here is another tough to find split 7" featuring 2 songs by Slapstick (Yellow Plaid, Brotherman) and 2 songs from Tommyrot (It'll Move, Spoon) out on Banter Records from 1993.  I bought this at the Elmhurst VFW seeing Tommyrot play and thought they were so good I needed to spend a couple bucks.

Slapstick side 1st.  Dan Andriano currently in Alkaline Trio played bass for this band way back in the early 90's, and if that doesn't do it for you this is a Slapstick record without any horns!!!  Weird huh.  Slapstick fans should get a kick out of the hornless ska ditties. 

Ok now onto Tommyrot.  These guys are the much lesser known band on this split for sure, but share some punk rock inbreeding nonetheless.  First things first, former Alkaline Trio drummer Glenn Porter played in this band 15 years ago as well Sean Seeling from Apocalypse Hoboken.  Memory leads me to remember Tommyrot included on of the Caterer (Smoking Popes) brothers in this band too.  I know what you're thinking, this is cool and I need it.
