Snowball-Guiness Records LP E-, Low Op Bid Scarce

 Greetings and welcome everybody! Thank you very much for stopping by another of my attempts to auction records here on ebay!  If you are here to bid, look, stalk, or you just want to find a place to hang out, you found it, and I thank you for coming. Don't worry about your feet on that table, it's of no real value, so make yourself comfortable.
This time up I have a supposed "rarity" LP by New York Pop band Snowball.  This is the LP that even the band itself didn't know was released.  If you know anything about this record's label-Guiness, you will know it was a tax dodge label by the producer who had this one in the can as well as a bunch of other artists' music and had someone release it out of state under assumed....blablabla...this LP was released pretty much after the band was done, and if there were any profits, the artists sure didn't see them, and if it was a loss, it wasn't a loss, it was a tax chea..er, write off.  It's not bad for power pop of the early 70's. It has a lot of late 60's feel to it, and would have fit right in on early 70's FM rock radio.  But since the band never did hit it big, this wasn't released until later, and the producers got any of the reciepts, if there were any.
This record is almost my E+ if not higher. The only thing is, there is a scuff mark in the first track of side 2 "How Can You Face Love Again". It doesn't look pretty, and is rather benign.  But it is there and it's not pretty. Didn't affect play the only time I played it, but it could be one of those "your mileage may vary" marks, so I prefer to err on the side of the buyer, and will give this vinyl my E-.  My grading folks, please read below. The cover still has the shrinkwrap covering it all-except the opening. There is a bend at the top left front/top right back cover. Not huge, but it's there. Cover gets my E.

In case anyone's wondering, here is my scale for grading.  M - Mint.  Reserved for still factory sealed.  N- Near Mint, opened, no marks whatsoever.  E+, no marks other than a smudge that i'm too lazy to clean.  E, a light mark or 2, probably won't affect play. (why "probably"?  Because everyone claims their hearing is better than the next persons'.) E-, marks or wear that will cause a little audible affectation.  V+, wear that will cause some distortion of some type.  V, V-, P, well, you get the picture

Okay, you won't find this one everywhere. Personally, I stumbled across this not knowing anything about it when I got it. But seeing as how I prefer to pick up records by the "less i've seen-the more i want" method, and seeing what this has gone for and asked for (nope, can't start it that high, it's only E-), perhaps there's some esoteric mofo out there who wants to wave this in another collector's face.  You people, this one's for you, and I'll still start this one low!

All items I sell will be sent with a copy of the sale form, printed up from eBay.  I will not "mark item as a gift", just so you can evade import rules.  The people at my post office know me, and they will check overseas packages for inspection.  If you cannot comply with that, please do not bid.

Also, international bidders, the price listed for postage on my listings are for domestic mailing.  I wish I could send overseas for that price, but reality speaks different.  I place a fair price on all international postage.  Watch for the invoice if you win.

All items that are sent to a U.S. address will have delivery confirmation (at my cost) attached, as I have found that it helps...a lot!....to ensure that packages are truly en route to the customer.  This is for both of our sakes.  I will be using USPS "Media Mail" as my primary shipping method, however, if needed, and for an extra charge, I can ship with "Priority Mail", and if i can get away with it for the price, I really like 1st Class, but that's weight-dependent.

Oh yes, if you are the winning bidder, and you are in the Commonwealth of Virginia, I'm afraid you are going to have to fork over the 5% Virginia State Sales Tax.

By the way, I encourage dialog here! Oh yeah, one more thing to anyone who is a regular here (or who might start being!)-I have way more stuff, especially records than I can list on ebay.  I already work in a record store (which has nothing to do with my listings, except the ability to ship from there!), so I can't rightly go honking their name here.  But-I am considering asking paypal to let me use them for a side business.  Don't you folks worry any, I won't stop listing like I do now, it's just there's things that sell on ebay, and things that don't, but will otherwise.  If you're getting my drift, keep watching, or drop me a line!..hint, its very possibly an auction! 

So if you need something that isn't seen everyday, and has some rather unsavory history about the label and it's practices, and you're a pop historian, and ....if you're cheap, how can you pass this one up?
