Description
Available for auction is an audiophile, original issue (import) of Georg Solti conducting the four operas of Wagner's "Ring" cycle. Also includes box set of Tannhauser with Vienna Philharmonic. Found on Harry Pearson's The Absolute Sound Super LP List (TAS).
LONDON OSA-1604/1509/1309/1508/1438 (Stereo)
Covers: EX+, minor wear, edge wear, hinge seam has separated on each box, but structure is strong (2 boxes w/ minor spine damage)
Inner sleeves: NM-, minor wear (all original "London")
Booklets: NM-, minor wear
Vinyl: NM- (visual), faint sleeve marks, few spindle marks, shiny! (many discs probably unplayed)
Notes: Heavy-weight vinyl, narrow-band stereo label, matrix numbers (randomly selected discs from each set):
