This auction is for "Sometime In New York City" vinyl double LP by John Lennon and Yoko Ono with Elephant's Memory - Apple Records PCSP 7161/7162 - UK Issue.

The gatefold cover has no seam or spine splits, no writing, no stickers, etc. The bottom corners are a bit soft - grades VG++.

Record number 7161 has some light scuffs, etc - visually grades vg++. The dead wax on side 1 reads YEX 893 - 1 and side 2 reads YEX 894 - 1. The labels are black with photos of John & Yoko and are in excellent condition. The inner sleeve is black with one side blank and the other side with LP information including song listings and musicians. This is made of a thicker paper than the US inner sleeve.

Record number 7162 also has some light scuffs, etc and also visually grades vg++. The side 1 dead wax reads YEX 895 - 1 and side 2 YEX 896 - 1. The labels are black with photos of John & Yoko and are in excellent condition. The inner sleeve is white with one side reads "John and Yoko presents.........live jam - The Mothers Fillmore East June 1971..........." The other side lists the tunes of the live jam with musicians and personnel and was made to look like it was hand written. This sleeve is also of a thicker paper than the US inner sleeve.

There are no other inserts. I do not know if the UK version had the same inserts as the US version or if there were just none included. Also, the dead wax on both records does not have an inscription to John and Yoko.
