Son House MONO LP: Father of the Folk Blues - 1965 - 2 Eye 360 Sound  - Columbia Records CL 2417 - USA - VG Condition
Quick take: This VG record delivers the goods sonically but if you can't tolerate some record surface noise including occasional - sometimes persistent - sometimes loud - clicks then you should look elsewhere.
There is a video in the photos section to give you a sample of the sound. The side 2 sample includes a section where the surface noise clicks are at their worst. Part of that sample includes a bit of the song "Grinning In Your Face" which has hand-claps in it that you might mistake for clicks. There are clicks in with the hand claps.
Read on if you want the full description. I'm trying to help you know this record as I am living it at the moment.
The vinyl is in VG condition. The labels look very nice with some faint spindle tracks. The vinyl still retains gloss but it is also marred by numerous scratches and scuffs and a few fingerprint marks on the edges.
I played this mono record from start to finish before offering it for sale. I'm listening to a recording of it as I write this. I have to tell you that I am enjoying this album immensely. It is a powerful record. The quality of the sound is spectacular. That isn't to say that there aren't imperfections. I'm just saying that I am finding it easy to tune out the imperfections. There is low-level crackle. Some of the scratches produce clicks. Most of the clicks are pretty easy to ignore. Some of the clicks try to demand a little attention if you'll give it. The first part of Side 2 is the roughest for surface noise / clicks. There are a few louder, more persistent ones in the first couple of side 2 songs, but it gets better. If you are a person who can tolerate some record surface noise on a record with great fidelity, then you'll probably be pleased with this record.
The inner sleeve is a printed Columbia sleeve with one side showing numerous Columbia titles and the other a whole lot of points extolling the virtues of record albums. This sleeve is in nice shape. There are no splits. There are some creases and there is some yellowing. I assume this is the original sleeve for the time that this record was sold. And when was it sold?
The record labels match those for the original issue of the vinyl which began in 1965. The inner sleeve shows some record albums from 1967 and 1968. Assuming the inner is the one that was originally in this copy of this album the implication is the record was sold in 1968. You'll have to decide for yourself what the truth of the matter is (if that matter matters to you). I have presented what I have observed.
The record jacket is in VG condition. It looks nice but there is obviously general surface wear and some ring-wear. There is some corner and edge wear too. There aren't any serious creases or corner dents though. There are some yellowish spots visible in the white of the back of the cover.

Sometimes combining shipping results in increased packaging material expense. I'm not going to skimp on safe packaging.  Some items are not compatible for combined shipping.  Combining shipping might require changing the shipping class used.  A few items that I offer are not eligible for combined shipping. There will be a note to that effect in description somewhere if that's the case. For international sales, items with "ebay International Standard Delivery" shipping can usually be combined up to $100 value.  For international sales, items with ebay's "Global Shipping Program" shipping cannot be discounted easily because ebay does not permit shipping discounts with their "Global Shipping Program."
Of course it is ok to ask about combined shipping costs up front too. I can't always give an exact cost, but I'll do my best to give you a ballpark figure.
I reserve the right to limit the number of items or the total value of items that I'm willing to send in a single package. This is especially true for international orders where postage rates and insurance limitations are limiting factors.
