Description

Mono novelty album. BL 54056.  26-year-old poet, Rod McKuen wrote six of the twelve songs.   Songs include The Mummy, Son of the Mummy, Frankie and Igor at the Rock and Roll Party, Noisy Village, etc...
Vinyl Good.  Glossy with several hairlines.  Labels are very nice and clean, almost surprisingly so.   Spot-played.  The music itself is really rich and resonating.  Some tracks are relatively quiet and others have background pops and ticks from the hairlines, but they doesn't overwhelm the music.  
What keeps this record below VG+ is a fine crack in the vinyl, affecting the first two tracks (particularly the first) on both sides.  The stylus plays through it but a couple of rotations sound rough.  Tried but wasn't able to get a good visible scan.
Cover VG.  Well-worn cover, preemptively taped around edges.  Intact with decent surfaces, considerable corner wear.  Replacement inner sleeve.
