Description

       Original first US issue of The Sonics - Here Are, released on Etiquette ET-LPS-024, stereo copy, released in 1965, matrix - S024A ^7949 & S024B ^7949X. Overall good condition, matt tape along top and bottom sleeve seams which you barely notice, vinyl looks nice, unfortunately there's a very minor skip/pop at the start of the Witch, which is how i bought it, but unlike the dealer that sold it to me, i've got the decency to tell you. It doesn't kill the song/album at all but you need to be aware of it, to be honest i didn't even notice the first few plays. Considering its rarity it's still worth having, rest of album sounds excellent with just odd crackle between tracks. A garage classic of course, everybody should have a copy of this, a good collection filler till that mint one finally shows up.




 
      This week I am selling a box of rare-ish 60s garage/psych albums, I'm not a dealer, i don't have a shop, i've been collecting vinyl on and off since 1982. I'm moving and need to thin out, i'll probably regret it in the morning but it's gotta be done. Unlike some collectors i've met i'm quite easily pleased, and when it comes to scarcer records, i'm happy just to get a playable copy, and keep it fun, i don't claim to be an expert. Only two of the albums in this lot are genuine mint/unplayed, the rest have spent the last 45 years doing what they were intended to do, giving pleasure. As I'm not a dealer, i'm not even goin' to attempt to grade them, i learnt years ago how subjective grading is. I don't have time to play them all through right now, as i'm also workin' shifts, all are in a good playable condition, odd crackle in quite parts etc. Any surface marks were from previous owners, well looked after while i owned them. As i'm on the move i'd appreciate payment within 3 days, can't hang about this time. If you can not manage that, please do not bid. If you are unsure get in contact beforehand, i'm always open to suggestion. PVC sleeve included with all. I used quite a low resolution camera, photos don't do justice.
      I post worldwide, and have never had a problem, proof of posting always obtained, anything over £50 will be sent recorded within UK and International signed Abroad. All items securely packaged, I always combine postage.

 URGENT UPDATE - The issue i thought there was with the Witch track is NOT there....i just managed to get a new needle for my record player, quite old and hard to get a hold off......plays through excellent.
