Sonny Rollins ORIG US LP Love at first sight NM 80 Milestone M9098 Jazz Post Bop
Original US LP released in 1980 on Milestone Records. Cat: M9098.
Sonny Rollins has an all-star backup band on this 1980 release: keyboardist George Duke, bassist Stanley Clarke, drummer Al Foster and on some selections percussionist Bill Summers. The music ranges from "The Very Thought of You" and a remake of "Strode Rode" to some more lightweight group originals.
Tracks : Little Lu/ The dream that we fell out of/ Strode rode/ The very thought of you/ Caress/ Double feature.
There are a few light spindle marks on labels. Record is in Near Mint condition. Cover has a few tiny surface tears around edges and is in Excellent condition.
Wrapping method: All records are sent in stiff cardboard mailers then wrapped in brown paper and sealed around edges with brown packaging tape. Records are taken out of sleeve to avoid seam splits and ring wear.
