Description

This is a lot of 50 acetate records spanning the career of accomplished soprano, Miriam Berg (Stewart). She was an active soprano in 1930s and performed with Rodzinski and later became a voice teacher at the UNIVERSITY of ILLINOIS and later UNIVERSITY of KANSAS. These span from the late 1930s to 50s and maybe 60s. Most are 78 rpm but quite a few 33 also. Most are mint looking though about a dozen have a chalky filmy surface . The ones I played all played fine but there may be a few detractors. There are a couple labeled METROPOLITAN AUDITION from 1938. Many what appear to be radio shows or other live performances. Rare to find a career in one box.
