Description

Scarce private northern soul From St Louis based Vanessa label. VG condition with sticker on flip label and part of dead wax (100% removable, which I can do, or you may... just let me know). Great gloss and fidelity, with a few hairlines that barely sound with this healthy crisp program, sounding mostly as ex-. Funky "a" side and Deep soul flip make this a great two-sider that is hardly ever seen at all! No reissues or boots even exist... this one is about as rare as it gets and demand has increased since the few surfaced in the last several years, so check out the audio and see for yourself (no filtration, direct, no EQ, straight mono transfer). GREAT STUFF from St Louis's best and the reason I dig through crates week after week... love this one!

WE DIG THE DEEPEST! When in doubt check out youtube for a listen, 'cause these are the coolest and the rarest! What's the big deal about promos?? Well in the case of many major labels, promos were pressed separate from stock copies. In many cases, such as A&M, CBS and MOTOWN etc, they were pressed on pure virgin vinyl, unlike STYRENE which was used for their stock copies. The sound and quality is markedly better and not to mention the rarity of them, in many cases being one out of many thousand copies.
