Description
This is part of a big auction of mainly Specialty Records 7" 45's. Specialty recorded many great artists in the blues, R&B & gospel genres among others. All of those will be represented. There will also be a nice selection of rare bonus listings.
Here's the info on this item:
Release: The Royal Kings - Teachin' and Preachin' / Bouncin' the Boogie
Format: 45 rpm 7" single
Year: 1952
Notes: White & yellow label first pressing on rare red vinyl. The only single attributed to this band headed by Dave Bartholomew, who was quite active in the late 40's/early 50's New Orleans jazz/R&B scene. There are great R&B instrumentals on both sides. Sax, guitar, piano, etc. Another obscure gem that is very much worth hearing.
Vinyl Condition: VG+, vinyl is in great shape with hardly any wear at all. Looks very clean and sounds great with no skips/ticks/bumps, plays with hardly any background noise at all. Labels are nice with original gloss & no tearing/stickers. This is a nice copy overall.
Sleeve Condition: VG, Original sleeve. Has some light wrinkles and a small pencil number on the back, but tears but the left side has a split.
I want buying from me to be a good experience for you. I also know that condition can be very subjective, so I encourage you to see pics for exact condition details and ask questions if you need additional information. As always, the item you see is the one you will get. Please see my feedback, I think that will show that I am an accurate and fair grader and make sure my customers are happy.
I will combine shipping for anyone who wins more than one item. If you do need combined shipping, please wait for an invoice before paying.
