1997 Virgin Records. Very rare and collectable vinyl edition of the Spice Girls 2nd album. Vinyl visually inspected under a strong light looks to be in excellent condition. No marks, no scratches, still very clean and shiny. This album has obviously been very well looked after and hasn't been played very much at all....maybe only a couple of times i'd say.
Outer sleeve in excellent condition also. A few minor creases around the spine area and on the top edge, but nothing serious at all. Top edge also has a tiny crack in the centre, but it hasn't worn through the card, and will get no worse as long as the record is stored upright. Corner wear is evident, but very light. Held up to a strong light, I can see a few faint marks here and there, but again, this album sleeve has been well looked after over the years and hasn't had a lot of use.
Inner colour picture sleeve is in great condition too. A very small amount of corner wear, and the tiniest amount of ringwear at the top and bottom that is only really noticeable under strong light. No rips, no tears, no scuffs....very, very nice. Geri Halliwell on the inner sleeve has a look on her face that seems to say, "I'm leaving this group before too long".....and, of course, she did.
Excellent condition and hardly used copy of a very collectable piece of Spice Girls memorabilia. Considering CDs were still all the rage back in 1997 and vinyl was a more specialist format....there can't have been too many of these made.
